Summer in a small village in a plain and arid region of central Spain. Prying neighbors, mourning rituals, tediousness, extreme heat and undertones of guilt make a perfect soil for madness. The old woman will try to bring her late husband back by means of twisted rituals.
It is the story of Lili, an introverted 11-year-old girl that utilizes her imagination as a refuge from the world that surrounds her. A world that collapses with her father’s disappearance, the lack of attention by her mother, the betrayal in the context of friendship and the heartbreak.
But everything changes when accidentally, our little protagonist, falls asleep sobbing in the rain, under a tree, accompanied by a raven, old but all high and mighty.
The tree of the lost souls is a story regarding the introspective journey of the protagonist and the relationship between her and each one of the people in her life. But beyond that, the story speaks about loneliness, broken dreams and the grief of death in childhood.
Echoes tells the story of a depressed factory worker who suffers an episode of dissociation.
I told him I was a filmmaker… and nothing has changed. Amid these landscapes traipses the soul, at times certain, at others uncertain of its own existence, while the body is and is and is and has no place of its own.
Ana, is a girl full of insecurities. In order to be happy, she will have to learn to love herself, facing, like everyone else, her complexes.
An unusual birth, the result of the experiments of a sinister scientist. A mother who loves and hates her child.
